Haircuts

I made my first rag quilt! (inspired by my sister in law, Nicole) It took me forever to pick out the material. Our Joann's was pretty limited with their flannel prints so I finally picked out a corduroy for my main print instead of flannel. I think it turned out pretty cute! I made it for my cousin who is having her first baby.

I also made some rag burp clothes too.

At my cousin Malia's baby shower in Tucson.
And my new haircut! I actually had a student cut it and when it was wet it didn't look too bad, but when I got home and it was drying I started to see all of the flaws. It had no layers and scraggly pieces everywhere. At first I was panicked and was going to drive to the valley and get it fixed the next day. Easier said then done. After a few days went by I curled it and found I could hide it that way. It actually looks really cute curled so then I found no rush to get it fixed. It is still not fixed which forces me to do my hair daily. I am one to sling it in a ponytail everyday so force is good for me. Hayley curled it so cute this day. I will have to convince her to curl it again for me!

Anders needed a haircut so I let Aaron do a mullet for a couple days. Now it has turned into not cutting it for a few weeks until Caleb gets home from his mission. I told Aaron I could cut it anytime I wanted without him. But I'll let it stay til he gets back I guess.

Anders loves his mullet and goes around telling the world about it.

Anders looks like a little Russian boy with his mullet. All the the little boys (and big unfortunately) have mullets. I think it is cute on the little ones and not quite and cute on grow men.
